Alana Brook


Alana is the Assistant Organist at Lincoln Cathedral. Hailing from Australia, she began her organ studies at St Peter’s Cathedral in 2011 under direction of the Assistant Organist, Mark Joyner. Alana moved to Dorset in 2015 to take up the position of Organ Scholar at Milton Abbey School, where she gained her ARCO before moving to Ripon Cathedral as Organ Scholar. Alana regularly conducts and accompanies the Cathedral Choir in Lincoln, and is in charge of the Lincoln Cathedral Consort. She teaches theory to the choristers and trains the probationers. Alana has performed recitals in York, Bournemouth, London and Ripon. During the coronavirus pandemic, she became a Fellow of the Royal College of Organists, being awarded the Turpin/Durrant prize.
