Ami Takagawa

While pursuing a degree in Piano Performance at the University of Wisconsin-Superior, Maakestad began organ instruction with Dr Norma Stevlingson. At Luther Seminary, she continued her organ studies with Dr John Ferguson and Dr Catherine Rodland. She is Director of Traditional Worship at Incarnation Lutheran Church, and also plays piano, serves as an accompanist and directs multiple handbell choirs. She loves showing people the amazing things that only the pipe organ can do.
