Gloria Toplis

Gloria studied piano and voice at the Royal Academy of Music,and for an MMus in music analysis at King’s College, London. Following her career in academic music, during which she lectured at Goldsmiths’ College and became Director of Studies for Music at Kingston University, she now works as a church organist in the village of Brasted, Kent. She continues research into the transmission of music theory in post-revolutionary France, and enjoys leading a weekly singing group for people with Alzheimer’s and their carers.
