Helene Albrecht

Helene is a piano teacher who received her training in Aachen, Germany. She started her musical career in the early 1990s with focus on chamber music and early years music education. In 1995 she and her musical partner were awarded the Promotion Prize of the Catholic Women Society Germany (KFD) for their research and performance project on forgotten female composers. In 2014 Helene started taking lessons with teachers of the RCO and regularly participates in the RCO's Summer Organ Schools. Since 2020 Helene co-chairs the SWO’s research group on women composers of organ and liturgical works.
