Alison Malcolm

Alison was educated in Salisbury and studied the organ with Martin Neary, James Lancelot, Colin Walsh, and Anne Marsden Thomas. She was awarded the Kimberley Marshall Scholarship to study at the Organ Academy in Gothenburg where she studied with Jacques van Oortmerssen, Ludgar Lohman and Kimberley Marshall. Alison is now Director of Music at Amesbury Abbey Church where she has a large choir. She teaches organ privately, supported by the Diocese of Salisbury's Pipe Up! scheme which subsidises organ lessons for organ students under the age of 18.
