Marion Lees McPherson

Marion (nickname Benni) is an organist living in Edinburgh, where she is the organist and director of music at Stockbridge Church and resident organist at Edinburgh City Crematorium. She regularly gives recitals and accompanies choral concerts. In her youth she played bass guitar in a feminist rockband, The Stepney Sisters with fellow graduates from York University. She also composed music for the television animation series Pigeon Street and Rub A Dub Dub. The Stepney Sisters recently recorded an album to celebrate their 40th anniversary.
