Elizabeth Moore

After playing cello in the NYO, Elizabeth trained at the Royal Academy of Music as the Sterndale Bennett Scholar. She made her career in chamber music performance, including as continuo cellist for the Thomas Tallis Society, with regular concerts at the Royal Naval College Chapel, Greenwich. Whilst teaching in the music department at Sevenoaks School, 1971–2014, Elizabeth completed a 3-year Certificate in Theology in 2005 from Lampeter University. Her RCO tutors have been Tom Bell, Richard Brasier, and Robin Walker, and, since 2007, she has attended the annual Cripplegate Residential Organ Summer School. Elizabeth is a member of the RCO.
