Amari Catherene Vanderpump

Amari Catherene was born and raised in London, England. She started playing the organ at the young age of 7 and took lessons from her local church organist. By her early-teens she had begun playing for services, weddings and funerals almost immediately. She ended up studying the organ abroad and graduated with a master’s degree in organ performance from the University of Oklahoma Organ department in 2002. She is currently serving as a senior organist at First Baptist Episcopal Church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA.
