Janet Wheeler

An organist in her youth, nowadays Janet writes for organ more often than playing it. She read music at Cambridge and then taught music in schools before joining BBC School Radio as music producer for eight years. She then focussed on choral conducting and composing. Her music includes sacred anthems and liturgical pieces, secular choral/orchestral works and many shorter pieces. She has been commissioned by Sonoro Choir, Ora Chamber Choir, National Youth Choir, Papagena and many others.
