Ami Takagawa
While pursuing a degree in Piano Performance at the University of Wisconsin-Superior, Maakestad began organ instruction with Dr Norma Stevlingson. At Luther Seminary, she continued her organ studies with Dr John Ferguson and Dr Catherine Rodland. She is Director of Traditional Worship at Incarnation Lutheran Church, and also plays piano, serves as an accompanist and directs multiple handbell choirs. She loves showing people the amazing things that only the pipe organ can do.

Maxine Thevenot
DMA, ARCCO, ARCT, HonFNCM
Award-winning Canadian-American musician Maxine Thévenot is known for her skillful, musical playing, inventive concert programming, and passionate, informed conducting. She combines a profound commitment to her liturgical work as a cathedral musician with guest conducting, solo and collaborative organ recitals, and thrives on co-creating synergistic community experiences whilst continuing to strive for representation and access to music of all genres. She currently lives in New Mexico (USA).

Isla Thompson
Isla gained an interest in organ playing after hearing the organ played during at Evensong at Magdalene College, Oxford. She began lessons soon after at Hexham Abbey under Michael Haynes, and was offered the scholarship at the age of 14. She is a keen musician playing both piano and organ and hopes to continue studying and learning into university and beyond.

Emma Troman
Emma is senior organ scholar at Peterhouse, University of Cambridge, where she is a finalist in Asian and Middle Eastern Studies (Arabic and Persian). Emma regularly deps for church services in the area between Cambridge and London. She is keen to encourage girls and young women to take up the organ, and can provide advice/mentoring for young organists wishing to apply for or soon to start an Oxbridge organ scholarship.
Jane Van Valkenburg
MMus
Jane holds degrees in Organ from the University of Michigan, where she studied with Robert Glasgow, and Bowling Green State University, where Vernon Wolcott was her teacher. After a career as an organist, conductor and teacher in Virginia, Ohio and Texas, she now resides in Delaware and enjoys her roles as Grandmother and Substitute Organist at a variety of churches.

Amari Catherene Vanderpump
Amari Catherene was born and raised in London, England. She started playing the organ at the young age of 7 and took lessons from her local church organist. By her early-teens she had begun playing for services, weddings and funerals almost immediately. She ended up studying the organ abroad and graduated with a master’s degree in organ performance from the University of Oklahoma Organ department in 2002. She is currently serving as a senior organist at First Baptist Episcopal Church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA.

Emily Christine Vanderpump
Emily Christine was born and raised in London, England. She began studying in organ at age 8 following behind her older sister's footsteps. But unlike her older sister Amari Catherene (who went to study abroad in the USA), Emily went to study organ at Trinity College of Music, graduating with a master’s degree in organ performance in 2004. Emily is currently a Senior Lead Organist at a small Catholic Church in South Blackpool. Emily hopes she can someday qualify as an Organ teacher.

Inga de Vegvar
Inga de Vegvar is currently in Year 9 and started playing the organ at the age of twelve. She began to study with Anne Marsden Thomas at thirteen. She also studies viola and piano at the Junior Department of the Royal College of Music.

Lynn has been a church organist for over 50 years, serving churches in New England, Miami FL, Pittsburgh PA, Washington DC, Tampa Bay FL and Lexington KY. She is passionate about learning new organ music and promoting the works of current composers, especially women composers. Recently she was invited to become Associate Organist at the Kentucky Theatre in Lexington and is enjoying the challenge of playing theatre organ. Lynn also worked in the fields of IT, Music Education and Communications.

Tiffany Vong

Tiffany is based in Glasgow and works as an organist, harpsichordist, conductor, and teacher. She is a graduate of Oriel College, Oxford, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (with support from ABRSM and RCS Trust), and the University of Glasgow. Tiffany specialises in historical performance and is a keen chamber musician, performing regularly with the International Baroque Consort. She is the Women's Conducting Fellow 2023-2024 at NYCoS and VP of the Glasgow Society of Organists.

Stellaria Ciampolini Vukelic
Stellaria Ciampolini Vukelic
Stellaria is an organist and pianist based in Switzerland. She is studying the organ under Pierre-Alain Clerc in Aigleand started at the age of 16. She is currently at Malvern College Switzerland taking her A Levels, and runs the school choir. Stellaria studies the piano under Ian Jones and has been playing for 12 years - she thoroughly enjoys playing Romantic Era music and widening her repertoire. She has also composed a few pieces and loves taking inspiration from a wide range of eras and styles, and entered a piece for the BBC Christmas Carol Competition.

Barbara Wadley
Barbara has been playing the organ for over 30 years and is Director of Music at a United Reformed Church. She enjoys leading all musical styles from classical to contemporary, which fits with the demographic of the choir and worship band. Coming from Germany, her favourite composer is Bach and she devotes a full month in the liturgical year to him, enabling her to give renditions of his wonderful and famous preludes, cantatas, fantasias and toccatas. She also enjoys playing the violin, Vivaldi!
