Taunton

Janice is an organist based in Taunton, Somerset. She took up the organ at the age of 15 with Amelia Martin and gained an Organ Scholarship to King's College, London, at the age of 18. During her time at university, Janice recorded a CD of Leighton's organ works, and went on tour with the choir to the USA. She now works full-time as an accountant, but continues to explore the works of Byrd and Bach enthusiastically in her free time. Janice gives recitals frequently, and is passionate about encouraging young women to take up the organ.

Maria has played the organ for 10 years, and is passionate about French Baroque music, a subject in which she has a PhD. She studied at Cardiff University, where she played for choral evensong in the Cathedral every fortnight with the Cardiff Singers. She is now based in York, and plays regular duet organ recitals with Paul Phillomen. In her spare time, Maria plays football.

Alison is an organist, conductor, violinist and cellist. She studied violin and cello at the Royal Academy of Music with Ladia Communa, before taking on the position of Director of Music at St Bodulph's, London, where she discovered her passion for the organ. Since then, Alison has studied the organ in Holland, America and Germany. She gives recital across the UK and abroad. Alison is a keen composer and writes music regularly for the BBC Singers. She is based in London.
